Okay, finally finished watching this list. This show is better than it has any business being, these were all excellent
OTOH... sleepytime didn't strike me as outstanding? I mean it's just as good as the others (which is a high bar), but I don't think it especially stands out (if I had to pick a standout I'd go for baby race, but I think they're all great in their own way).
I came here from your comment about The Last Unicorn as your favorite movie, because I was pleasantly surprised to find someone else who shares my love for it.
Then I open your page and see this article about Sleepytime. When I saw that episode, I cried. And then I thought it should win an Emmy because of how powerful and accurate and humble its depiction is of a notoriously rough part of parenting, putting the kids to sleep. (Hint: it’s exhausting)
Then your mention of a Phoenix tie compelled me to engage. Anyways I am not exactly sure why I am letting you know other than I thought you might be interested in the shared commonalities.
Also: loved your quip about you prefer “quality.” I so get that.
The music in the last third of Sleepytime is actually O God Beyond All Praising. https://open.spotify.com/track/4vTboLXMDA7miKyWMeB0n0
Oh! Thank you for the correction!
Not a correction! Just an observation when you said you liked the music.
Okay Faceytalk was better than it had any right to be

Oh my thanks for this (came here from ACX) I only watched a few before sleepy time. I'm somehow reminded of "Frog and Toad" by Arnold Lobel
